The Ground is Shifting Conversations FAQ's

1. Who are these conversations for?

They are for people who feel they need space to pause, reflect and think more intentionally about where they are, what they are carrying and how they move forward.

These conversations are for people navigating:

  • change,

  • transition,

  • uncertainty,

  • pressure,

  • emotional overload,

  • shifting responsibilities,

  • multiple demands,

  • or seasons where life has become too noisy, crowded or overwhelming to think clearly.

2. What happens during the sessions?

The sessions involve guided reflective conversations, thoughtful questioning, quiet reflection, intentional pauses and optional sharing designed to help participants:

  • slow down,

  • reflect honestly,

  • notice what may have been ignored or postponed,

  • become more aware,

  • and think more intentionally about their current realities.

Participants may reflect privately, write down thoughts, sit quietly or contribute verbally.

There is no pressure to speak.

3. Do I have to share personal details?

No.

Participation and sharing are always optional.

  • Participants are free to:

  • reflect quietly,

  • write privately,

  • listen,

  • or share only what they feel comfortable sharing.

The conversations are designed to respect personal boundaries and individual reflection styles.

4. Is this therapy?

No.

The Ground is Shifting Conversations is not therapy or counselling.

It is a guided reflective conversation experience designed to create space for pause, reflection, awareness and intentional thinking.

While the conversations may feel meaningful and emotionally resonant, the intention is not diagnosis, treatment or advice-giving.

5. What makes these conversations different?

The Ground is Shifting Conversations is intentionally designed around SPACE.

  • Space to Pause.

  • Space to Reflect.

  • Space to Think.

  • Space to Hear Yourself Think.

  • Space to Hear Yourself More Clearly.

In a world filled with noise, pressure, constant movement and emotional overload, many people continue functioning without giving themselves enough time to think intentionally about what they are carrying, postponing or navigating.

The conversations create SPACE for Awareness, Recognition and Thoughtful Self Reflection without pressure or the need to have immediate answers.

Silence, reflection and thoughtful pacing are intentional parts of the experience.

6. What is the intended outcome of the conversations?

The intended outcome is to help participants:

  • become more aware of the realities they are navigating,

  • reflect and think more intentionally,

  • begin gaining greater clarity and groundedness,

  • and consider how they move forward when something that once felt certain changes, moves or no longer exists.

Participants are encouraged to move toward greater awareness, clarity and intentional next steps over time.

7. Is the space confidential?

Yes.

The conversations are designed to create a respectful, safe and grounded space for reflection where confidentiality is honoured.

Participants are encouraged to respect the privacy and dignity of others by not sharing personal reflections or stories outside the conversations.

8. Is there a “right way” to participate?

No.

Some participants may speak openly.

Others may prefer to reflect quietly, write privately or simply listen.

All forms of thoughtful participation are valid.

The experience is designed to honour different personalities, comfort levels and reflection styles.

9. How should I prepare for the session?

Come with an open mind.

Participants are encouraged to:

  • be present,

  • arrive on time (preferably 5 minutes earlier)

  • allow themselves space to reflect honestly,

  • and bring a notebook, journal or device to capture thoughts and reflections that may emerge during the conversations. No prior preparation is required.

10. What if I don’t immediately have answers to the questions?\

That is completely normal.

Reflection often takes time.

Sometimes clarity emerges immediately.

Sometimes it unfolds gradually through continued reflection, awareness and intentional thinking over time.

The conversations are designed to support thoughtful engagement — not pressure participants into forced answers.

11. Will there be future or longer programs?

Yes.

The Ground is Shifting Conversations is exploring the development of deeper reflective experiences and longer guided conversation journeys focused on themes such as:

  • identity,

  • purpose,

  • preparedness,

  • transition,

  • uncertainty,

  • and navigating changing realities over time.

Participants will have opportunities to express interest and provide input into future experiences.
